Sponsored Projects Administration Training for Faculty

On November 27, 2006 the Provost sent a follow-up memo to President Levin’s letter regarding required training for faculty.

The purpose of this training is to familiarize faculty and other project directors with a number of considerations related to financial administration of sponsored projects. While business managers and business office staff will carry out many of the tasks discussed, the Principal Investigator ultimately has the responsibility to assure that project funds are expended according to University and sponsor requirements.

As of June 15, 2007, faculty may complete the training requirement by reviewing the material and completing the self-assessment online.
